Q. Who is Mizar? Have you seen him in the final scenes of the game yet?
A. Mizar is a large bug. Well actually he's not, he's someone in a bug suit, but you're supposed to find out who on your own. He's an interplanetary tyrant bent on destroying Earth, basically. And yes, we have seen him in the final scenes of the game - he's the most challenging boss in a video game thus far, we think (except one of the level bosses in Indiana Jones on the GameBoy - I've had that game for five years and I haven't beaten it yet. Dagnabit.)

Q. I've been questing about for hours and I can't get the third floyd piece.. I can see the damn thing but can't get it..... how?
A. Assuming you're talking about the one behind bars, the reason you can't get to it is because it has a different entrance to the other two. Go back up to the surface and check for doors facing the wall of the area. When you find one, blow it open with a few rockets. Inside you should find a trapdoor, which will lead you to not only the last Floyd piece, but a few Tribals as well.

Q. Where is the fish food?
A. Tsk tsk - we answered this in the walkthrough. On Goldwood, after you've talked to Magnus, run into the next 'room'. Before going to see King Jeff, turn right and look for the secret passageway in the wall (it's in the first alcovey-thing.) Follow it through to an aread with fish and a chest, containing the all-powerful Fish Food.

Q. What's the deal with the bear at the water ruins? Am I really supposed to get it some earplugs, if yes then where?
A. You are indeed - gotta love the British humour. It's basically a simple task - achieve gold on the SS Anubis Floyd Mission, and you'll receive some ear plugs as consolation. Fun, huh?

Q. Where can I find Lupus' Tri-rocket Launcher?
A. At the very start of Rith Essa: Bluff, you'll find a chest containing this highly groovy weapon. It's in the first room - you can't miss it.

Q. I really need help with this one. I got 11 ship parts but the last one seems impossible. How do I get all of the Tribals on all the levels? When I got all the Tribals on the gem quarry and then went back to see if I got them all they were all there. I hope you know what I mean. Also how do I get Tribals when I can't get to them with a certain character? When I return will I have to save all of them again and again? I just don't get it. Please help.
A. You know, if I worked for Rare I'd have to pay you out so badly. But I don't, so I won't. In the pause menu, you see that little Tribal icon? Select it and press 'A'. This will take you to an overview of how many Tribals you have saved. Scroll through with the analog stick. The levels you haven't saved all the Tribals on will have numbers in the column underneath the Tribal with his eyes open. The levels you've completed will have zeros under the tribal with his eyes open and the Tribal with the cross through him. Don't worry that they're physically there when you go into levels you think you've already completed - trust entirely in that menu and you can't go wrong. As for not being able to get all of the Tribals with certain characters, here's the list of who to use for which level.

Q. Where do I get the specialist magazine to give to Fishface for the mine key on Rith Essa?
A. It's in the Thorax on Eschebone. You'll eventually come to some water you can dive into - follow the complex maze of passageways and eventually you'll find it. We pretty much answered this one last week, so check it out for more details.

Q. I want to know how to beat the leader that Vela has to beat to get Lupus. I want to know how not to get hit by the worms the big bug throws.
A. To not get hit, stand right at the edge of one side of the platform; then as the worms start to fall, run quickly to the other side. Keep locked onto it with your Tri-Rocket Launcher and you'll diminish its size with every shot. Evntually it'll just start firing at you non-stop - just keep shooting at it and don't worry about getting hurt - you'll prolly kill it before you die if you've done the rest of the battle right.

Q. When you get to the lava room in Ichor. I accidentally used the dog instead of Juno and got to the place where the bonus part was and a door opened. The dog died before I got there and the door wont open anymore. Did I miss a ship part there or something like a weapon?
A. The only thing that's in that room is a totem. Lupus' hatch key is through the other door that you need to jetpack to.

Q. Are there any codes for this game, if there are please send them to me.
A. As a bonus to anyone who signs up for jfgmail, we'll send out a list of codes and hints every week. (Yes, this will include Gameshark codes.) Click on the "jfgmail" link to your left to sign up.

Q. A) I need the powercell. I know the Coca-Cola Bear on Lost Island has it, and she wants me to get her earplugs from the Annibus. I've been through the Floyd mission a hundred times and can't find them. Do they have something to do with the force field shortcut? Please help me.
B) I can't find the last Tribal in Rith Essa Mine.
C) I love the race game two-player, but only opened two tracks (Mizar's Track and Jeff and Barry's) are there any other tracks or totems, or is that it?
D) I only found the Annibus for target practice, and would like a little variety. Any totems you would lead me to I would greatly appreciate.
A. A) The answer's above, but just for you I'll write it again. Get a gold on the SS Anubis Floyd mission. To do this, you must collect 8 items, destroy three targets and make it to the finish area within one minute (your time must be above 900.) Believe me, it's a lot easier than it sounds :)
B) Ack. Our Rith Essa Guide isn't up yet, so I'll refer you to this page at www.gamefaqs.com for the time being. Go with my blessing, my child.
C) There's also the Greenwood Village track from Diddy Kong Racing hidden in there - to access this, you must beat the best times on both of the arcade games in the Big Bug Fun Club. (For those that don't know, to fix the second game you must have the Arcade chip, which is your reward for getting Gold on the Ichor Floyd mission.)
D) A lot of the Floyd missions open new target practice ranges, so try to get Gold or Expert on these. As for the totems - telling you their exact locations would destroy the point of having them, but I'll tell you what levels they're in, ne? The totems are found on the following levels:
Goldwood (before the Outset); Spacestation: Abandoned Wreck; S.S. Anubis: Hold; Walkway: Peak; Tawfret: Bridge (there are two on this level - you'll need to use different characters); Sekhmet: Battle Cruiser; Cerulean: Dune; Ichor: Military Base; Spawnship: Troop Carrier; Rith Essa: Bluff; Rith Essa: Mine; Mizar's Palace: Lobby. Hope that clears it up for you :)
